Rush Orders

Any order that is needed faster than the minimum due date or production time is considered a rush. Each order form has an expected due date, often a 3 business day minimum, some orders may exceed that for a number of reasons. Should your order be requested earlier than the minimum time needed to complete, then a rush fee may occur.

In some cases work can be completed earlier than anticipated without charging a rush. This is possible when production can get to the work within their normal flow.

With the department's normal operating hours being Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, we have to ensure the maximum amount of time is granted to avoid a rush fee. Orders must be submitted before noon to ensure as much time can be given to complete the work. Should an order be submitted with after 12:00pm (noon) EST, this could result in a rush fee. Example: an order is submitted at 1:00pm on Wednesday due for Friday, this would result in a rush fee.

Orders that are a Rush may also be subjected to a pickup only option. Someone may reach out informing that an order cannot be completed and delivered before the end of day on the due date. These orders may have to be picked up at the location producing the order and are subject to change by the Printing Services Team.
